Park Shore & Coquina Sands:
Nestled between downtown Naples and the Pelican Bay area is an upscale beach community called Park Shore. Considered part of the Naples-Marco Island metropolitan area, an area well recognized for its affluence; Park Shore real estate offers luxury living at its finest. Homes for sale in Park Shore include both luxury condominiums and single family homes for those with refined taste and a love of the water.
The Naples-Marco Island metropolitan area is located at the very southern edge of the inhabitable land along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Though it did take several decades to implement the necessary transportation network and infrastructure to create a livable city, Naples gradually became a premier vacation and retirement location for the wealthy – and remains so today. As Naples grew and expanded, areas such as Marco Island, Pelican Bay, and Park Shore were created.
As part of the greater Naples metropolitan area, residents of Park Shore enjoy numerous dining, shopping and entertainment options. The Village on Venetian Bay offers open air shopping right along Florida’s Gulf Coast while Gallery Row downtown offers a collection of art galleries and antique shops. Dining options range from beachside grills to five star dining—both serving up some of the best seafood in the country. Entertainment in the Naples area offers something for everyone. If you prefer the arts, the Naples Players, the Opera Naples, the Philharmonic Center for the Arts and the Philharmonic Orchestra are excellent options. Nature lovers may enjoy any of the various nature preserves located in the area including the Florida Panther Natural Wildlife Refuge.
The location of this city along the Gulf Coast as well as its access to placid waterfronts such as the Venetian Bay and Doctors Bay offer plenty of water activities for people of all ages and interests. Park shore has long been a destination for vacationers and retirees, and for good reason. Residents can spend the day out in the Gulf deep sea fishing or stay closer to shore sailing along the coastline. Many of the homes for sale in Park Shore include boat docks for residents who own their own boat. For larger yachts, the Park Shore Marina offers dock slips for rent as well as daily and weekly rentals for everything from kayaks to yacht charters.
A home buyer searching Park Shore real estate will find both luxury condominiums and single family homes for sale. Even a relatively small single family home in Park Shore will typically run over $500,000, while larger estates, particularly with proximity to the water, will start at over a million dollars. Smaller, more modest (one or two bedroom) condominiums can be found in Park Shore for around $300,000; however, the majority of the condominiums for sale in Park Shore will cost well over $300,000 with those providing ocean views asking for premium prices.
Whether you are looking for a winter retreat, a year around vacation home, or a permanent residence, Park Shore real estate offers some of the most luxurious properties along the Gulf Coast of Florida.
The Moorings:
Private beach access at Moorings Park is one of many perks enjoyed by local residents, who have several shopping and dining venues nearby. Located in Central Naples, west of U.S. 41, The Moorings offers many waterfront single-family homes with boat docks as well as condominiums overlooking the Gulf. The private Moorings Country Club features an 18-hole golf course.
